This broccoli salad recipe is a twist on the kind you typically  find at a restaurant or on a salad bar that usually consists of cheese, mayo, and bacon. This is a cleaner version with ingredients you most likely already have on hand.

Broccoli Salad Recipe Ingredients

1/2 to 1 head of chopped broccoli
1/4 cup raisins
4 radishes sliced thin
1/2 cup chopped grape tomatoes
1/2 tbsp finely chopped shallot
Handful of slivered almonds (optional)
1 container unsweetened plain coconut milk yogurt
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1 tsp of either Annie’s goddess dressing or Dijon mustard
Dash of sea salt and pepper
About 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (could use a little less if you wanted)

Broccoli Salad Recipe Directions

Wash and chop all ingredients that need to be chopped.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl together.

Chill for at least one hour.

This broccoli salad recipe is best when able to sit for at least one hour in the fridge.

I love to take this to a summer cookout. Friends always say how yummy it is. If you don’t have maple syrup then you can substitute with honey.

Additional Toppings For Broccoli Salad Recipe

Feel free to use other or additional toppings. I’m always substituting ingredients when I don’t have something or think something else would add extra flavor. Some toppings that would be great are below:

  • sliced grapes
  • sliced apples
  • sunflower seeds
  • pumpkin seeds
  • chopped peanuts or walnuts
  • dried cranberries
  • dried blueberries
